Biltong & Cheese Muffins

These biltong and cheese muffins taste as good as they sound! Try this recipe using Gideon Milling stone ground flour - taste the difference!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Gideon Milling Cake Wheat Flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup grated cheese (cheddar)
  • 1 1/2 cup biltong powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup oil

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Mix the dry ingredients. 

  3. Whisk eggs, milk, and oil. 

  4. Add in dry ingredients, but do not overmix. 

  5. Scoop into well-greased muffin pans and bake at 180°C for about 25-30 minutes
